Nomadic Meal ecological packaging design
Some of the projects realised during a 4th Year packaging and branding assignment with the Ecole Bleue.
The brief was to develop new ecological packaging for a healthy nomadic meal.
Solutions include flexible puzzle elements that built to complete meals, a stackable breakfast for an 'on the go' morning, a meal in a book to combine reading and eating and a tetrahedron-shaped packaged balanced meal.
Students selected a type of cuisine, created a name and brand and developed physical packaging and shape design to best protect the food and the environment at the same time.

New London Routemaster bus unveiled
Continuing the recent theme of all things British, following on from my Design in English workshop and the PO design classics stamps... here is the new design for the uniquely British double decker London Routemaster bus.
Designed by Aston Martin, Foster + Partners and Capoco Design it is due in service in 2011 just in time for the London Olympics.
Great to see this UK heritage symbol and iconic destination brand vehicle rejuvenated and given new life.
A unique bus for a unique city.
