More incoherence with Potato and Fruit & Veg logos!
Adding to the confusion of the incredibly inconcistent Meat logos, Potatoes and Fruit & Veg now add further variants on the design. Inconsistent typography, typefaces, colours and layouts. Different illustration styles & colour palates, variants on the flag background... Vivre le chaos! Vivre les 70's!

New Gendarmerie Nationale logo - gone fishing...
Gendarmerie Nationale in France gets a new logotype. But what are the values that this 'fishing hook' is trying to communicate? Gone are the references to its long history, founded in 1791, its historic grenade symbol (like the British Grenadier Guards), the blue, white, red national colours...
The new logo communicates virtually nothing. It will not be legible on vehicles, impossible to embroider on uniforms, a difficult shape to place on any support. Leveraging heritage for something new, yes. Abandoning all for mediocracy, no.

Logotype changes are front page world news on BBC
Logotypes and branding are headline news on the BBC. The new Google logo and the scrapping of the recently announced 2020 Tokyo Olympics logo are both front page news articles today on BBC News.
Just shows how logotypes and branding have become leading subjects in the world. Great.
